Refinity Acne Hydrogel

I have been battling acne ever since high school. Even up to now, I still have adult acne especially at the time of the month. This is what girls have to go through *sobs* Lucky for me, I found Refinity's Acne Hydrogel to cure my monthly breakouts.

Why is this Hydrogel super effective? Because it contains Salix Alba Extract that works 3 times faster to cure acne. In addition, it works fast to repair skin cells so that there won't be any visible scarring.

A breakthrough formula derived 100% from Salix Alba Extract, Refinity works by enhancing the body's natural defenses to eliminate bacteria, reduce sebum and inflammation and repairs damaged skin cells caused by acne.

A very classy metallic silver bottle.

After lightly washing the face, pump one pump onto finger and massage gently onto affected area. Use 2 times daily, every morning and night. See results in just 24 hours.

The gel is clear and transparent so it would not leave a mark on the skin. Besides, there's no pungent scent and there's just a slight minty herb smell. When applied, there's some cooling sensation.

Suitable for all skin types as it is made of natural herbs so those with sensitive skin can use this product as well.

I have been using this product for one week and I have seen great results!

BEFORE(left) and AFTER (right)
Just after a day, my acne size has reduced.

After a week, it disappears without leaving any scar. This is good for emergency. Like a day before any event and that darn zit has to pop out! You know which product to look for =)

The 15ml bottle can last for a month if consistent day and night usage.

1 15ml bottle costs RM90 for West Malaysia and RM100 for East Malaysia.

Visit Po's Village in Sunway Pyramid!

For the coming Chinese New Year, Sunway Pyramid has transformed its Orange Concourse into a scene inspired from Kungfu Panda 3, the latest instalment that features Po reunited with his family in the Panda Village. Similar like the movie, the mall’s BountiFU Spring Lunar New Year features the panda village nestled amidst the mountains, where a Chinese temple lies, surrounded by cherry blossom trees.

Shoppers will also be delighted with a photo booth where they can take pictures with Po’s family, and print immediately as a souvenir.

For the launch, 38 children dressed in panda costumes danced to the tune of 'Kung Fu fighting'
They were superrr adorable =))

Lion dance performance followed soon after.
Shoppers can also enjoy the Lion Dance performance every Sunday, as well as on both days of the Lunar New Year. The second day of the New Year will feature an Acrobatic Lion Dance show at the Main Entrance to bless the mall.

Po was soo fluffy and fat and cute haha
I cannot get enough of him!

Thereafter, the traditional lou sang session was held.

On the same day, there were a few other activities held simultaneously:

Calligraphy writing

Soo pretty!

Dough doll making

It takes a lot of skills to make something that small and cute *respect*

As 2016 is the year of the Fire Monkey, the mall will be rewarding shoppers with adorable monkey plush toys.  From the 8 till 21 of January, shoppers who spend more than RM1000 in 3 receipts (RM800 for HSBC cardholders) will be able to redeem the monkey plush toys, while those who shop from 22 January till 9 February will receive a mini Panda blankie. Throughout both duration, shoppers who spend RM250 and above (RM150 for HSBC cardholders) will be rewarded with JoyFU angpau packets.

With over 900 shops to wander, the mall is a perfect choice for festive shopping and dining. As a mall with endless options for shopping, dining and leisure, Sunway Pyramid is celebrating a BountiFU Spring, spreading cheer to all its shoppers!

Bandung, Indonesia

My last holiday for 2015 was to Bandung, Indonesia =))

It was a rather impromptu trip. We decided early December, bought the tickets and by end December, we were on on the flight to Bandung!

Before going, Google and friends told us that it's a shopping heaven. We were a bit skeptical though because some said it's fake goods and what not.
So we arrived in the worst airport ever- seriously, Bandung has the smallest, most humid and super crowded airport -_- HAHA but it's alright, we didn't expect much anyway. We then headed to our hotel, Park View Hotel which provided free pickup service from airport.

The room was cozy and it had my favourite Tiffany blue colour as decor hehe

Unfortunately bathroom was too small but we were away from our room most of the time anyway. Breakfast had a decent selection so it was a rather comfortable stay there and you may just get the receptionist to call you a cab anytime without any extra charges.

The location was very convenient. It's 15 minutes walk to Rumah Mode, 10 minutes walk to Paris Van Java(biggest mall in Bandung- it's soo huge something like Mid Valley without Gardens hehe) and 20 minutes cab to nearby tourist locations so yeah it was pretty good!

First day damage!
Rumah Mode has the best selections! We basically just shopped the bulk of our clothes there and no other warehouses could beat Rumah Mode.
The prices were cheap. I am unable to verify the authenticity of the brands but there were Zara, Forever 21, MNG, Dorothy Perkins etc etc

Dresses, skirts, blouses all could cost around RM30 each. Jeans are around RM60 and mens wear are cheap as well. Less than RM100 for a coat or pants ^^
We really took advantage of the great deals hehe

However, please beware of the 'branded' bags. These are definitely fake so no purchase of bags in Bandung.

On top of that, Rumah Mode offers wide selection of food so you could rest and eat after a tiring day of shopping hehe and they have massage parlours as well.

It was a really tiring day. We walked to Rumah Mode but because of the bulk of bags we had, we couldn't walk back to the hotel LOL and we had to take a cab who cutthroat us -_-

A nearby Fashion House warehouse had pretty good deals as well and offered almost the same brands as Rumah Mode but the selections were not as wide.

After a day of full on shopping, night time was eat, eat and eat and we went to Cihampelas walk for street food. FYI, Nasi Gila is the bomb! You should try it =)

The next day was a day of sightseeing.
Our tour guide picked us up at 6.30am and our day started.

Tangkuban Parahu is a volcanic site.

The scenery is like a photo I've taken from Google but no, this is from my camera.

It's gorgeous and all but nothing much to see here.

We saw people selling wood crafts.

Do you know the wood is in that pattern?
The pattern is all natural! Very unique =)

Just beware that for entrance fees, foreigners are charged 10 times more than locals. And everytime you go in with a car, you have to pay for parking. All of these are not included in your tour fees.

We actually spent quite a lot forking out money for entrance fees, etc etc on top of the tour fees. So I suggest that if you were to choose, you might just want to go to Kawah Putih because it's nicer and Tangkuban Parahu is the other end. Our journey from one end to the other took us 13 hours in total for the day. We were already warned about how far it was from one end to another but because both places are listed as popular tourist sites, we decided to go both hehe

We stopped by here for lunch - D Seuhah da Lada
Really nice place where we get to sit on top with a nice view.

The food was good too and the Ayam Ngumpet is not to be missed. Yums!

And then we went on a 3 hour journey to Kawah Putih. Oh my, it was so far but going uphill, with the chilly weather and the nice scenery is just all worth it hehe

Kawah Putih is a sizeable highly acid lake (pH 0.5-1.3) which changes colour from bluish to whitish green, or brown, depending on the concentration of sulfur and the temperature or the oxidation state. The sand and rocks surrounding the lake have been also leached into whitish colours through interaction with the acidic lake waters.

The smell of sulfur is strong because there is a good deal of steam and sulfurous gas bubbling from the lake. If you can't stand the smell, you might need a mask.

Beautiful place but one where you can't stay long because of the smell.

Unfortunately, the day has ended and we took another 3 hour ride back to our hotel LOL
Lucky for us, we found some friends to share the whole tour ride so it wasn't too costly on our end. I would suggest the same for you.

The next day we went to Jalan Dago and the famous Kartikasari is a bakery which sells Pisang Bollen. Honestly, I really don't know what's the hype about this Pisang Bollen because to me, it's nothing to really shout about. But because everyone queuing there have a box or 2 in hand, we had to buy to try.

Meh..bread with banana?
Haha, good for souvenir, though!

In conclusion, if you want to visit Bandung, please shop and break both legs in Rumah Mode and you may visit Kawah Putih for some sightseeing. Other than that, there's nothing much else to do. A 3 days 2 nights trip will be more than enough.

Year 2016

First of all, Happy New Year to everyone =)

How was New Year's Eve? I was probably among one of you people crowding around KL area, partying till the wee hours of 2016 hehe

Was just going through 2015 in a flash and I realised last year was the year I travelled the most! It was indeed great adventures, with great cultures, met awesome people and had so many new experiences. For overseas, I went Krabi,Thailand, Hanoi,Vietnam and Bandung, Indonesia. I also went on short trips around Malaysia to MalaccaTadom Hill ResortIpoh, Sibu, Sarawak, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Kluang, Johor and even tried Airbnb at Verve Suites, KL. I was truly thankful that I had the opportunities to do so and I am looking forward to many more travelling experiences in the future.

2015 is also the year where weddings were aplenty! I am at the age where many of my friends are getting hitched. It's the 'getting married' phase and it continues in 2016. This January itself, I have 3 weddings booked in my calendar LOL.

I have so much to thank for last year as I was very blessed with many opportunities, be it work related, non work related or blog related. I thank all those who put much confidence in me and believed in me in the things I did even when I thought I couldn't. I definitely learnt a lot and they were all very valuable lessons. And also, not forgetting, thank you dear readers for supporting me all these years =')

I have also learnt something about myself- Love is something I will never compromise. No matter how busy I am, no matter how difficult my life is at that time and no matter how hurt I am, love still comes first. My family(immediate and ones close to my heart) will always be my number one priority, and those that will stay with me through the thickest and the thinnest. Nothing comes in between me and them and this will remain the same forever.

I also gave a lot of thought in my career and if last year was about finding my passion, experimenting and learning new things in work, this is the year that I fulfil my long time goals, create more stability in my career and becoming an adult. I have a very specific goal that I'm looking forward to and there's no turning back to it *crosses fingers and toes*

I was mostly going with the flow of my life last year without putting much thought on what will the future hold. That is because I was still in a phase of neither here nor there. I was experimenting with many new things, experiencing new stuffs on a daily basis whether it's work or non work related and was mostly on party mood hehe However, this year will be different. I will no longer be pushed into doing things I'm not comfortable doing, I will put my foot down if I truly believe in something, I also have better say in things now and I hope to move out from my comfort zone and be a better career woman. Here's to a year of self improvements!

2016 will be different, I can feel it. Now, I just need to live it =)

Here's hoping all of you will have a better year ahead!
